Definitions & Scope
In this document, the following terms apply:
“Organiser” / “DCIG” refers to [Diamond Cutter Institute Global], operating under the event partnership with Diamond Cutter Wisdom Pte Ltd in Singapore.
“Programme” refers to the 3-Day DCIG Level 8 Automatic Leadership Programme held 3-5 July 2026 at Conrad Singapore Orchard Hotel.
“Excursion(s)” refers collectively to the Pre-Event Excursion (2 July 2026: BLOCK71, NUS, Chinatown Heritage/Ya Kun Tea Break, Singapore River Cruise, Marina Bay Sands Spectra Light Show) and the Leadership Beyond the Classroom excursions (3 or 4 July 2026: ArtScience Museum – Flesh & Bones, and NOX Dine in the Dark).
“Participant” refers to any registered attendee who has purchased the Programme and/or any Excursion package.
“Third-Party Operator(s)” refers to venues, vendors, and service providers engaged to deliver an Excursion, including but not limited to BLOCK71, NUS, hotel and tour transport providers, river cruise operators, Marina Bay Sands, ArtScience Museum, and NOX Dine in the Dark.
By registering and submitting payment, the Participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Registration & Payment Terms
2.1 Full Payment Required
All Programme and Excursion fees are due in full at the time of registration. DCIG does not offer deposit, instalment, or “pay-later” arrangements for this event. A Participant’s seat and excursion seats are confirmed only upon DCIG’s receipt of full payment.
2.2 Pricing
Current pricing (in USD) is summarised below. Prices are confirmed as of the second week of June 2026 and may be subject to change without prior notice; once a Participant’s payment is received and a confirmation is issued, that Participant’s price is locked.
Page 3
2.3 Payment Methods & Currency
Payment is accepted via the methods specified at checkout or by DCIG’s registration team. All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD); Participants are responsible for any foreign transaction, currency conversion, or bank handling fees incurred on their end.
2.4 Confirmation
A Participant’s registration is provisional until participant receives payment confirmation. Excursion seats are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon full payment – selecting an excursion package does not guarantee a seat until payment is confirmed.
2.5 Excursion Capacity
Each Excursion date operates on a strictly limited-capacity basis, as follows:
-
Full Day Discovery – 2 July 2026 (BLOCK71, NUS, Chinatown Heritage/Ya Kun Tea Break, Singapore River Cruise, Marina Bay Sands Spectra Light Show): maximum 40 pax.
-
Evening Immersion – 3 July 2026 (ArtScience Museum & NOX Dine in the Dark): minimum 20 pax; maximum 30 pax.
-
Evening Immersion – 4 July 2026 (ArtScience Museum & NOX Dine in the Dark): minimum 20 pax; maximum 30 pax.
Seats for each date are allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment. Once a given date reaches its capacity, registrations for that date will be closed or waitlisted, and Participants may be offered the alternative available date where capacity remains.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
All Programme and Excursion fees are strictly non-refundable once payment has been made, regardless of the reason for non-attendance, including but not limited to illness, injury, travel disruption, visa denial, personal emergency, or change of mind. Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase their own travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellation and interruption.
3.1 No Refunds for Withdrawal or No-Show
DCIG will not issue cash refunds, partial refunds, or credits for a Participant’s voluntary withdrawal, late arrival, early departure, or failure to attend any portion of the Programme or any Excursion.
3.2 Substitution
A Participant who cannot attend may nominate a substitute attendee in their place, subject to DCIG’s written approval, at least 48 hours before the event start date, and subject to an administrative transfer fee of US $50 where applicable. Substitutions are not guaranteed for individual Excursions if the relevant Third-Party Operator has reached capacity.
Page 4
3.3 Organiser-Initiated Changes
If DCIG cancels or postpones the Programme or a specific Excursion in its entirety (other than for reasons of Force Majeure under Section 10), affected Participants will, at DCIG’s discretion, be offered (a) a substitute activity of reasonably equivalent value, or (b) partial refund of unused portions of non-ticketed venues. DCIG’s liability is limited strictly to the fee paid for the cancelled item; no consequential losses (such as flights or accommodation) will be reimbursed.
3.4 Itinerary Changes
Excursion venues, timings, routes, and Third-Party Operators (including the specific NUS tour, BLOCK71 host, river cruise vessel, dine in the dark or museum exhibit hall) are subject to availability, operating hours, weather, and circumstances beyond DCIG’s control, and may be substituted with an alternative of comparable value without entitling the Participant to a refund.
4. General Safety Guidelines – All Excursions
The following baseline safety rules apply to every Excursion. Activity-specific rules follow in Section 5.
-
Participants must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the published departure time. DCIG and its Third-Party Operators are not obliged to wait for late arrivals, and no refund is given for missed transport or activities.
-
Tour guides fluent in English, Chinese, and Japanese are available across the Excursions. However, some venues operate English-only experiences due to venue policy or third-party restrictions (for example, certain BLOCK71, NOX Dine in the Dark waitstaff, or museum docent-led segments), so multilingual guiding cannot be guaranteed at every stop.
-
Participants must follow all instructions given by DCIG staff, tour guides, museum docents, cruise crew, and venue personnel at all times, including instructions to stop, evacuate, or change course for safety reasons.
-
Participants must wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable closed-toe walking shoes for all walking-tour components (BLOCK71, NUS, Chinatown).
-
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings, valuables, and travel documents throughout all Excursions; DCIG and its Third-Party Operators are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
-
Participants must disclose, at the time of registration or no later than 7 days before the event, any medical condition, mobility limitation, allergy, or accessibility requirement that may affect their participation in a specific Excursion, particularly NOX Dine in the Dark (see Section 5.6).
-
DCIG reserves the right to refuse or remove any Participant from an Excursion, without refund, if that Participant’s conduct poses a safety risk to themselves, other Participants, staff, or the public.
5. Activity-Specific Safety & Conduct Terms
5.1 BLOCK71
Access to BLOCK71 is hosted by a third party and subject to its operating hours, security, and confidentiality requirements; the specific itinerary (founders met, areas visited) is not guaranteed and may vary.
Page 5
-
Participants must comply with any visitor sign-in, security badge, or confidentiality requirement requested on site, and must not photograph, record, or publicly share any proprietary business information, screens, or documents observed during the visit.
-
Business-casual attire and respectful, professional conduct are required at all times when interacting with founders, mentors, and BLOCK71 staff.
5.2 National University of Singapore (NUS)
-
The campus visit is a guided walking tour across an active university campus; Participants should be prepared for moderate walking distances and uneven outdoor terrain.
-
Participants must remain with the group or guide at all times and respect NUS campus rules, including restricted-access buildings and quiet areas (e.g. libraries, student housing, active classrooms).
5.3 Chinatown Heritage / Ya Kun Tea Break
-
This is a walking visit through a public, high-foot-traffic heritage district; Participants should remain alert to traffic, crowds, and uneven pavement.
-
Participants with food allergies or dietary restrictions (including egg, gluten, or soy, present in the kaya toast tea break) must disclose this at registration so that alternative arrangements can be requested; DCIG cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation at third-party food stalls.
5.4 Singapore River Cruise
-
Participants must follow the boat crew’s boarding, seating, and safety briefing instructions at all times, including the use of life jackets if instructed.
-
Participants with mobility difficulties should inform DCIG in advance so that boarding assistance can be arranged; the boarding pier and vessel may involve steps and a gap between pier and vessel.
-
The cruise may be delayed, shortened, or cancelled at the operator’s discretion due to weather, water conditions, or vessel availability, without entitling the Participant to a refund of the Excursion fee.
5.5 Marina Bay Sands Spectra Light Show
-
This is an outdoor evening event in a public, crowded waterfront area; Participants should be mindful of crowd movement, uneven walkways, and personal belongings.
-
The show involves bright flashing lights, lasers, and loud amplified sound and music. Participants with photosensitive epilepsy, migraine sensitivity, or sound sensitivity should consult their physician in advance and may choose to view from a greater distance or opt out of this segment.
-
Show timing and content are determined by Marina Bay Sands and may be altered, shortened, or cancelled without notice.
5.6 ArtScience Museum – Flesh & Bones: The Art of Anatomy
-
This exhibition contains graphic anatomical illustrations and imagery of the human body, including depictions of dissection and medical specimens, which some Participants may find intense. Participants who are sensitive to such imagery may choose to skip specific gallery sections.
-
Photography, flash photography, and touching of exhibits are subject to the Museum’s own house rules, which will be communicated on site and must be followed.
5.7 NOX Dine in the Dark
Page 6
MANDATORY DISCLOSURE FOR THIS EXPERIENCE
Because this experience takes place in complete, sustained darkness, Participants MUST disclose, at least 7 days before the event, any food allergy, dietary restriction, claustrophobia, anxiety disorder, photosensitivity, pregnancy, mobility limitation, or other medical condition that could be affected by total darkness, confined seating, or an unfamiliar multi-course menu. DCIG and NOX reserve the right to decline participation, with no refund of the related excursion fee, where a disclosed condition cannot be safely accommodated.
Participants will be seated and guided exclusively by visually impaired or blind waitstaff in a completely unlit room; no personal lighting (including phone screens, flash photography, or illuminated devices) is permitted at any time during the seated experience.
Any Participant may request to exit the dark dining room at any time by clearly informing their server or raising a hand; staff are trained to escort any Participant out immediately upon request, no questions asked.
Out of respect for the format and for fellow diners, photography and audio/video recording inside the darkened dining room are prohibited.
DCIG and NOX are not liable for minor incidental contact, spills, or disorientation inherent to dining in darkness, provided reasonable care and standard service protocols were followed by staff.
6. Health, Medical Fitness & Insurance
Participants confirm that they are medically fit to take part in all booked Excursions, including walking tours, river travel, and the sensory conditions of NOX Dine in the Dark. Participants are solely responsible for obtaining their own travel and medical insurance covering the full duration of their stay in Singapore, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation, and personal liability. DCIG does not provide travel, medical, or accident insurance to Participants and is not responsible for any medical costs incurred during the Programme or any Excursion.
7. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
Participation in the Excursions is voluntary. To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law, DCIG, its officers, employees, agents, and Third-Party Operators shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, or damage to property arising from or connected with participation in the Programme or any Excursion, except to the extent such loss is caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of DCIG or its staff.
Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless DCIG and its Third-Party Operators from any claim, demand, or liability arising out of their participation, save for claims arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct as set out above.
8. Code of Conduct
Page 7
DCIG is committed to a respectful, harassment-free environment for all Participants, staff, and Third-Party Operator personnel, including the visually impaired and blind waitstaff at NOX. DCIG operates a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour of any kind. DCIG reserves the right to remove any Participant from the Programme or an Excursion without refund for breach of this Code of Conduct.
9. Photography, Filming & Media Consent
DCIG and its appointed photographers/videographers may capture photographs and video during the Programme and Excursions (excluding the darkened portion of NOX Dine in the Dark, per Section 5.7) for promotional, archival, and marketing purposes. By participating, Participants consent to such use unless they notify DCIG in writing, prior to the event, that they wish to opt out of being filmed or photographed.
10. Force Majeure
DCIG shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of the Programme or any Excursion caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic or public health restrictions, government action, strikes, terrorism, or venue closure. In such an event, DCIG will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative activity or credit, but is not obliged to issue a cash refund.
11. Personal Data & Privacy
Personal data (including dietary, medical, and accessibility disclosures collected under Sections 4-6) will be collected and used solely for the purposes of planning, safety, and operating the Programme and Excursions, shared only with the relevant Third-Party Operators on a need-to-know basis, and handled in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties, and failing resolution, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore (or, if the parties so agree in writing, referred to arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre).
13. Acknowledgement
By submitting payment and registering for the Programme and/or any Excursion, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full, including the strict no-refund policy in Section 3 and the mandatory health/safety disclosures in Sections 4-6.
